Assembly was straightforward and required no more than a screwdriver. I only asked for a second pair of hands to help stand it upright once completed, and that wasn't a problem either. The desk seems larger to me than in the photo although the dimensions given are exact - this is great because I did not want a skimpy desk with minimal surface space. The interior of each drawer is 12" wide by 15" long by 1 7/8" high although items can still clear 1/2" more in height than that even with the drawer closed. The PC tower area allows for plenty of circulation and cord storage in the back can be concealed behind the panel that runs the length of the desk. I looked around extensively both online and in stores before selecting this desk and it was worth the research and wait as the quality exceeds the price in comparison. Would definitely recommend as it is easily adaptable to many decor styles... Read more
