Purchased this desk/work table for my daughter, a third year student in art school. She needed both the architectual-like side that raises for drawing, etc., and the flat side for her computer work - or to just have her computer there to listen to tunes. She loves it and it will likely be a great thing for her to have in the smaller apartments I imagine her having as she gets started in the art world.

This desk is exactly what I was looking for. Pretty easy to assemble. It's reversible, so you can put the drafting table on either side. I was worried about the quality of the glass, but to my surprise, it is very sturdy and well made. The only negative thing I can say is that shipping was $60, but you are not going to find a work station this unique anywhere. For sure would recommend this to anyone who needs to be organized in a small space.

I purchased 2 of these desks for my home office and immediately out of the box I was impressed. The only negative thing I could say about the whole assembly experience was that one of the screws didn't fit in the bar (second screw on the front left that connects the drafting table). I ended up using my impact driver with an allen wrench extension with no success. The hole just was not having that screw so I opted to leave it alone. Desks seem to be fine, sturdy blue glass, well made metal framing, well thought out structural integrity, and an adjustable drafting table. I plan on using the stationary area for my desktop computer and the drafting table for my work laptop. Very nice product for work or luxury. This set up is more or less a desk, a drafting table, and a hinge piece to connect them. You can put the drafting table on either side of the stationary to accommodate your space requirements. -1 star for stripping the screw mentioned before.
